MSN bot consuming plenty of bandwidth
I have a couple of directories with average of about 5 GB data transfer every month. This month it shot up and MSN bot appears to be the major culprit. It has siphoned off about 750 MB of data transfer in a couple of days. After a week it comes back and fires off using up another 500 MB. As long as our sites end up at the top of the SERP, it is ok. But this amount of data transfer is way above the norm.

I haven't problem with MSN, I should wish it would go deeper and visit more often, but Google is indexing deep almost every day. But I would say that they ain't using much data transfer because I have redesigned my pages into CSS-design. Content and design are separated, almost no tables are used (only for tabular data). Compared to my old design the new one loads approx. 10-15 seconds quicker on a 56K modem, and the design look's the same. So if you have the possibility to redesign into a CSS-design, it will save you bandwith.
