Is there an msnbot? Probably just a crawler spoofing that useragent, looking for urls to exploit -- formmail, windows junk and such.

Simple what happened to me...but with Google i got requests of /index.php?page= ...
even though i had a simple index.html page.

This is because the site once had those links what are on directories, search engines and websites and then decide to do a proxy based on your site.

i.e. xxxhttp://www.badsite.com/pages/oldpage.php becomes
xxxhttp://www.yoursite.com/pages/oldpage.php and your log fill up with 404s.

is it got sites like .biz and .ru in referer?

I could be mistaken.

Dan
