Exclamation MSN Beta Live - Official!!!!!

MSN has removed the beta-wrap from its proprietary search engine and is now showing self-generated results at MSN.Com. Beta results had started bleeding into MSN listings over the past three weeks but since Sunday (Jan 16), the .COM (US / Global) version of MSN has consistently mirrored those found at MSN(beta). Regional versions of MSN continue to display Inktomi (Yahoo owned) / Regional partner generated results (Jan19, 05).

I see no change: For the last couple of weeks MSN has been displaying the new Beta results page(s) on the old MSN search. The results pages still show "Search (beta)" on the upper right of the pages.

Yeah, I got that SiteProNews email this morning, too.

I don't think it's fully live yet. I think there will be a blog post and probaly a press release. I think they'll change the header on msn.com to look more like the beta, as well. Feb. 1 hopefully...

it seems to m,e that everyone that has been to msn beta search before the rampup sees the new beta results through msn, but I have asked some people randomly to go and some dont get the beta results...i still think they are doing testing and have seen sparks of increased msn usage, but nothing longer than an hour or so which leads me to beleive that their rampup is still slow.

Live here in AZ as well - if you search off the main MSN homepage
the results shown are beta results.

We have NOT ranked well so far, with MSN's new algorythm -
anyone else have ranking problems? Our rank with Google and Yahoo
remains excellent - but MSNbeta has simply NOT liked us. We have
over 30,000 indexed pages in google and yahoo but so far, only about
150 in the new MSN, and few of them rank well.

We are not ranking well either, but our Affiliates (that are sub-domains of our main site) are ranking number 1 and number 4. How can MSN take a Sub-Domain and rank it higher than the main domain?

We have had 2 Sales from this Beta today

Could be just a theory, but I would recommend getting plenty of forum sig links with the relevant keywords. While I am suffering in G and Y, sig links is what I have plenty of and I have a gut feeling that they are the reason for my decent performance in the new MSN SE. Try it.

So far I have seen the biggest improvement in my SERPS from sigs on Yahoo. I haven't seen too much help from MSN and I will have too wait til the Google BL update too see if that is doing better.
