MSN and the future

Anybody got any comments on Microsoft and what they plan to do in the future with longhorn, I was reading an article that is from June 2003 regarding their goals with the new OS and how they want to compete in the search market even more. Articles states they would integrate their web search in all of their windows products. That makes a serious difference in the way people use the internet. I could compare it to how many AOL users use AOL search, except that Windows makes some crazy number like 90% of market share for operating systems. What products and information people find would be controlled by Microsoft even more.

Here is the article, if anyone wants to read it.

Personally I have a feeling that if they meet their goals like they always do, it could make a major difference in all our worlds over the next few years.
