Meta Tags
From what I understand, what you have in the <meta name="description"> is what gets displayed in the search results. However, this is not exactly what is happening for me.
If you go to msn and search for: site:http://www.fragrancesandmore.biz You can see that every indexed page shows the first part of the description meta tag, but then the first part of a pull down that is near the top of every one of my pages (Shop by Brand... Agraria Bond No 9 Creative). Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to just get the meta tag description to show up in MSN. |

Dump them - they really do you no good.

Dump what? The <meta description> tag?
If I do that, then it seems like MSN will just start pulling all kinds of garbage out of the header of my web page. Not the actual stuff I want displayed in the search results. |

Could be the way MSN creates their descriptions, not entirely about your desription tags, but as it appears, patterns in your content.

The neat thing about style sheet divs - a div of text can be displayed in the code prior to all elements - while actually residing 'visibly' on the page "lower". |
