Look at this

Look at this
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=cheap+flight+&Form=MSNH

or just search for term "cheap flight"
most of ranks are occupied by blogspot hosted blogs and these blogs having huge amount of backlinks.
I m thinking that If MSN has one line algo
Most the backlink(whether these achieved by spamming as in this case), Toppest the position.

MSN is an anamoly. Their results are not indicative of proper SEO techniques. You can jump for joy over MSN results and get slammed in the big two.

Yea MSN SERPS are the most unstable.. Reason is that, Its crawler is too fast..fetched info from sites pretty fast and thats y its so unstable.i have my site and i got around 17 links for it.. MSN cralwed the links and showed it in my backlinks within 2 days. also there was a rnak jump within 6 days..

So yes MSN SERPS are the most unstable.. agreed.. its easy to be there and far too easy to fall from there..

Regards

MSN counts more the quantity than the quality of backlinks (as opposite to Google who really likes quality, relevant back links) - that's the explanation.

Yep, MSN considers backlinks more as compared to other search engines. Google & Yahoo considers backlinks as well as on page optimization. While, MSN consider links quantity.
