How to increase index pages in MSN?
My website has 50,000 indexed pages in google, 40,000 in yahoo but in MSN only 300. No. of index pages in MSN are very low as compared to google and yahoo, I want to know from u How to increase index pages in MSN?

Sometimes it just takes a while for the MSN to index all of your pages. If you have not done so, try creating a sitemap. A sitemap usually helps speed up the indexing process.

Make sure all of your pages on your website no more than 3 pages deep. That means you shouldn't have to click more than 2 links to get to any page. Use a sitemap as suggested above.

also folder depth is something to take into account, although as other SEs have indexed all your pages so this wont be the issue here, never the less its something to be mindful of.

Spiders only go so many folders deep (2 or 3 i think, dont remember off hand) so if your urls on some pages read:

www.site.com/folder1/folder2/folder3/folder4/index.htm

then anything in folder 3 or so onwards wont be cached.

Useless information with regards to this specific thread, but was worth saying I 'spose.

Kinda Obvious here but not states for MSN it does have to be a html crawl-able Site Map. The xml, or text only is for Yahoo and Google only. MSN has no site map deal.

More links!!! MSN index your backlinks better and faster than Yahoo and Google. Even links from "link farm" count! Just spend 5-10 hours to submit your website to directories and you will see result in a week.
