How To Get Ranked With MSN?

A few questions:

My sports forums page ranks on the second page of MSN:
http://www.raz-sports.com/sports-forums

However, how come my sports blogs and article page does NOT rank well on MSN, http://www.raz-sports.com/articles? But
my main page http://www.raz-sports.com does rank well under the terms of sports blogs?

In other words if you use MSN and type in the keyword phrase of sports blogs, my home page appears BUT not the blogs & article page itself. I'd like to change this.

Any suggestions?

measure the link popularity for the blogs that rank where you would like to be. get your links up to that and as longs as your meta tags are in order you should rank with the top guys for your niche.

to get good rank in MSN one of the key factor is backlinks with keyword in the anchor text.
if you have enough number of such backlinks and if your sites/blogs are optimisied for on page factors, they will rank well.

MSN is easy only put your keywords on you the content of the website and change links like crazy, quality dont matter here like in google, and in few weeks you will be on top... its easy

But then, wont that hurt Google ranking? I mean does reciprocating links with irrelevant sites is just avoided by Google in its ranking factor or will it give negative marks to it also? If its the first case, then doing what u said is probably good...

well you was asking for msn, but yes it will hurt google rankings.... what i do is optimization for google, if you get in google you dont need to worry for msn or yahoo, but google takes alot of time yahoo and msn not so much especially msn, he is very fast ranking sites... so my advice is try to go for google exchanging links with quality links, in the end you get more traffic from google than from other SE.

MSN has been known to not give rankings so much to pages within a site. The main page is what gets most of the rankings. Eventually if the other pages are linked to and optimized like previously mentioned, they may improve.

I find the opposite to be true. My sub pages rank extremely well for their optimized terms on msn, where the home page is dominant in Google for the same terms.
