Unhappy How to get listed on MSN?

Our site is always getting serp'd by MSN bots yet our site arikasjewelry.com is virtually invisible on MSN. We are indexed by MSN.

We are listed in Google, Yahoo and Ask for our search words celebrity jewelry, fashion jewelry and others. Yet nothing on MSN.

Any help from the forum is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I've heard that MSN is very fond of internal anchor text but since I can't get the bloody bot to index me I can't test that theory out

Lord have mercy...lol.... I just use the "Submit a new site" link in MSN to get indexed.... Seems to work for me. Mr bot tends to show in about 24 hours after submission. Poof in the the index.

How long before your site gets fully cached into msn Gchaney?

Its ok the bot showing up in 24 hours, but if you have 30`000 pages you want indexing msn is a little bit of a pain in the backside for that and seems to drag its heels.

Does anybody else have good experience with 'Submit a new site' feature in MSN ? I am sceptical because of experience with Google.

It really works well, my site was shown in SERPS two days after using 'Submit a new site' button.

From my experience MSN does not indexing the whole site. I have 45 pages and only have 17 in the index. At one point ALL of the pages were indexed but they got Dropped. Same thing Happened in Yahoo.

I have some sites that are fully indexed in msn but they are ones that were built specifically for that search engine.

I also have others that i can`t even get index.
Its a funny old carry on at microsoft.

Once I get crawled it takes a couple of weeks for anything to show up, and then it's only a few pages at a time.

I do. Didn't help any. I've tried significant amounts of backlinks, great internal anchor text, submitting to my.msn.com rss feed, blog and ping, submitting to the msn submit site page, etc. etc. etc. I still can't get MSN to do more than visit my site a couple of times. Never deep crawls - ever. 45 sites and counting and not one of em has been deep crawled by MSN.

Google and yahoo eat my sites up. MSN ignores me for the most part.

Try the manual submit again. I just got a new site indexed that way in less then 24 hours with only 70 BL. And another woth 294 BL in less then 24 hours. Both of these sites were submitted yesterday seconds apart. I do not have a msn page, pass, or any thing, other then that I probably did everything else you did.

to gchaney

for me it does not work out either each time I submit to msn
Sometimes a website gets immediately indexed, like 24 hours later, at other times I seem to have to accept the idea they might never index it in a long, long time.

It's funny, but my MyYahoo bookmarks and Y360 blog links seem to appear as backlinks on MSN sooner than on Yahoo... ;) Is it really funny? No, but moderately interesting nonetheless.

Sidenote: Gman - how's it going after the 30 days?
