How to get #1 overnight

My site had been holding 5 #1 rankings for over 6 month. Now my site is outrank by .......... spam, cloaking site with 15 000 links from blog comment. Yes, blog comment can get you #1 overnight at MSN. Where can I report search spam at msn ?

I have a site that is ranking #1 for my main term, #2 is there from a web ring of blogs. I didn't report it, as I think this is a problem throughout msn, so it should be fixed soon.

Do a search for reporting spam on msn, they have instructions for it.

Same thing happened to me on Yahoo with a spammy site, It was blog feeds, rss feeds, doorway pages, and a bunch of generated content with about 5 different paragraphs of original content.
The site, not including the hidden doorways, is only about 5 pages total. I reported them 6 months ago with no luck.
So the question isn't "where can i report them", the question is "where can i get the feeds and software to do what they're doing"
You gotta play a little dirty on MSN. I would recommend registering a new domain that's not yet ranking in Google and blackhat your way to the top. Once you get there, it will hold position and just do a permanent 301 redirect to your main site.

To report spam there is a link you can click on at the bottom of the results page called "Help us improve."

I disagree, msn AND Y! simply need some on page optimization and a bunch of backlinks. They both seem to run less filters than G so it is even easier to get to the top. Try using Link Vault to obtain a large amount of backlinks at a steady pace, that way to climb in all the engines.

If you are going to do the blog spam tactic, then this would be the way to do it. But wouldn't you be better spending your time getting your main site better rankings?

I doubt You'll see the same results in Google.... But MSN is pretty heavily affected by back links so spam can easily gain a foothold into the rankings.

Edit** Ref to Rep points: What are you talking about ?

The most important things I have observed in MSN is the keyword in the domain name plus other onpage elements (title, meta, headers, bold, italic, keyword in paragraph, keyword in anchor text, alt tags etc). Then comes the off-site factors. So if you have a little bunch of backlinks (no matter from DMOZ or a few blogs' comments) you can get high rankings in MSN!!!!

Keeping #1 For the Long Term

Getting a #1 position in msn is easy, with good content and backlinks

The loopholes that search engine optimizers have been trying to use for high ranking in the search engine has created a plethora of sites that boast high keyword ratios, thousands of irrelevant hyperlinks and sometimes even redirection. These redirected websites try to create an optimized web page that the search engines will rank high but actually redirect the viewer to a less search engine friendly site.

Well, the search engines have caught on. The websites that were getting the highest placements weren’t always providing quality information or useful content. In fact, they not only lowered the ranking of these sites – they even removed them from the listings completely.

This has sent a shock wave through the internet community and smart marketers realized that there is only one sure way to convince the search engines that they were meant to be at the top..

Quality Content.

I think we will begin seeing a drop in refferal spam in the next few months. I happen to be one of those pesky refferal spammers and I can tell you, it's getting harder every day. More and more blogs are going to registering before you leave a comment, and all blogger blogs now have the nofollow tag. In order to be effective at this you need to send out thousands and thousands of spam attempts. So to put it in perspective, hitting 1000 blogs may get you only 6 to 20 comments!

I think this will pretty much level itself out in a matter of time without any SE having to do any thing about it.

Now about forum refferal spam... that's another thread
