How long for msn to count links and relist a site?
hi,
I flatened an asp site using iis.... Google has picked up almost all the pages like "detail_item_nn_12.html" But msn and yahoo is still showing "detail.asp?item=12" all the asp link on the site have been removed and replace with the html links... The content has been updated which msn and yahoo has picked up... You can still reach the same page in asp or html but with no links to the asp why are yahoo and msn not regiging the url ? Any ideas ?

Same here. I converted my site from html pages to a CMS 1 month ago & Google updates me regularly.
Yahoo and MSN are picking up the 301 redirects, showing the content from the new URLs but show the old .html URL names. Yahoo & MSN are not picking up additional new pages only the new pages receiving the 301 redirects. Maybe MSN is abandoning complete updates on its 'old' search? It is showing all my new page URLs on the beta preview at http://techpreview.search.msn.com
