How deeply MSN can crawl my site
Any ideas how deeply MSN can crawl my site?
I'v wondering coz it's passed about 4 month and just 400 pages from 100,000 indexed right now :-?

After small research I just notice that MSN indexed not all pages even major and reputable site like webmasterworld:
G return site:www.webmasterworld.com - 257,000
MSN return site:www.webmasterworld.com - 4,871

So, what do you think about it guys? How can I improve amout of my indexed pages?

It seems like MSNBot takes a LONG time to index pages, and doesn't index many pages per visit...

MSN crawl more that 30,000-50,000 (!!!) unique pages each month, but only 400 pages at the index

Give it time. That's all you can really do. Or get links to your interior pages.

jrath1, here is example for you:

www.webmasterworld.com
Created: 11-dec-1999

Google's commant link:www.webmasterworld.com shows 19,000 IBL
Yahoo's commant linkdomain:www.webmasterworld.com shows 1,200,000 (!!!) IBL
BUT still 4,871 indexed pages by MSN

So, what MSN need also for complete indexing???

Finally, after 4 month, it's (indexed pages amount) jumped from 300 to 14,500 pages.
So, it's far from all pages, but I'm glad to see even it

Don't expect MSN to crawl deeper than the third level. You're excedingly lucky to have 4th level pages indexed.

Sitemap with not more than 3 level pages helps a lot
But I did not change my site structure during last 4 month.

Do you have any stats on this? Our page count in MSN dropped from 15,000 to 1500. It's now up to 3000 but that's a fraction of what Google shows.

I have the same problem with my site www.informaticatienda.com I have 31k pages indexes in google and only 70 in MSN. It's strage, I think that MSN don't go into deep pages.
