no sorry the "revisit" meta tag is not and was not used by msn, google, yahoo or any other major search engine, its an urban legend that has its routes from a small Canadian search engine based in Vancouver, which never took off.
The only meta bot control is: <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> <meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow"> <meta name="robots" content="index, nofollow"> <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow"> This is the same for Google, Yahoo and MSN, you can further control the bot in outbound links within the page code using the rel="nofollow" tag along with the link, but that's all the on page bot control you have from the big 3, you can further control the bot with your robots.txt file and the xml sitemap from Google and the guaranteed inclusion program from Yahoo. |
