Harder to get indexed?
Has it become more difficult in the last few months to have a new site indexed by msn? I remember in the beginning, it was so easy. I'm having a lot of trouble now.

I agree. I'm having also troubles with indexing in msn. Their bot activity is always lower than G's or Y's.

Hmmm, dunno about that, but Yahoo actually picked up some of my new stuff faster than MSN did

Has anyone noticed a drop in indexed pages in MSN? I have a site that used to have over 600 pages indexed. That recently dropped to 67.

Happend the same with me. My new website was indexed by yahoo pretty fast (all pages). Intrestingly only my home page and the most recently updated page was indexed by MSN. Maybe getting a few backlinks to the internal pages should do.

There are around 200 pages in my site and goole has indexed 24 pages, yahoo 27 and msn 29000+. MSN has indexed each page atleast more than 20 times.
This is cause of the SID (session id) factor. I'm having a tough time in controlling the foolish msnbot.

Completely other world here. No problem at all getting indexed by MSN, New pages get indexed like the next day or so. Updating indexed pages is a whole different story, looks like a visit ones but never return again...
G indexes a little slower but then starts daily updates and Y... Don't see to much of him around here :S |

It still works for me...
I just started a new site two days ago and it was already indexed by all major search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, Altavista, AskJeves)... and the only think I did was to post a link to it from my other PR5 site.

2000 page website launched on 27th August, 200 pages indexed as of today in MSN and 150 in Yahoo. Google, not yet, but Google crawled 1500 pages, so should be in the index anytime. I don't think MSN is that big of a problem, it's slower some times, but it's fine.
