Google and MSN whats the difference for SEO?

Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Google and MSN for SEO.

For example a search for asset tags in google the number one place being Polylabel and a search for asset tags in MSN and Polylabe is no where to be found (I think that they are in 8th). Why is that, what is the difference? can you be number one in both?

Also I am looking for Links to my page, so if anyone wants to swap links then please goto this page:
http://www.security-label.co.uk/links.html
You will need to type the address as exactly as it is above as the site is not fully up and typing security-label.co.uk will not go anywhere.

Thanks,
Graeme

Yes you can be No. 1 in both. Since they both use the same index (Yahoo's) for now, just keep optimising for Yahoo. Look at on-page factors. MSN seem to apply different weights to various factor which accounts for the differences. Also they use their own directory results (not Yahoo's) and show Overture results differently.

MSN will be moving to their own index sometime soon, and it'll work differently - albeit using similar techniques.
