Backlinks going down

Since last week, every day my backlinks at msn are going down... I am still doing the same at SERPS and having the same backlinks, but each day I have 5% less at msn...... right now I have like 60% of one week ago... Somebody saw the same at their sites ?

mine are too!

They went from about 3600 to 2600(hehe, anyone who knows what 2600 also means, PM, I'll get a kick out of that if you do!).

Anyways, yeah, mine have dropped in the last few days too. not sure why.

MSN should be doing something similar than Goolge ?

Or not showing all the links from the same site ?

yah, they are up to something, I have been crawled by 3 different Microsoft bots in the last 4 days. not sure what the difference is, except their names are completely different.

I'm more concerned with my BLs though, just like you are.

MSN is putting out some so-so results, Im not sure what they are up to, but it has to be something that will change the SERPS dramatically. I had a ton of backlinks disappear.

It may be safe to assume that the backlinging structure will be the same as google's. When compared with Yahoo, Google often shows less backlinks.

Maybe, MSN is going the way of google...

Funny enough MSN is now showing more BL’s for my site. It is actually twice as many as what Y! is showing…
