Cool Backlinks: from 7k to 181k?
Jumping Jimny Crickets! Not sure what MSN is up to, but I just jumped from around 7k backlinks on MSN to 181k! The rest of my Marketleap link popularity totals about 120k, so obviously this is really inflating things. Are others seeing such a dramatic boost!?!

Not at all, actually ive seen a little decrease in the past few days, but only slightly nothing like what youve shown

Same for me, just divide by 1000.

From 34 to 381, 120-140 for the others on Marketleap. A competitor went from 200 to 4,000.

I think that the beta link count is in error, just forward to the second or third page and to totals settle down to something within the range of other search engines plus 30% or so.

The important news to me is that regular MSN has adopted these slightly troublesome figures from Beta. I'm sure that they will get them in order soon.

The Backlink Counter on MSN is all messed up.. we have a site saying 5200 back links, but if you spend the time and click though all the pages there was only 1109 reported, and on the last page the number changed from 5200 to 1109.

I guess it must be messed up, but i still havent noticed the error. am i the only one that shows roughly the same # of bls?
