A few observations
I have noticed that my older sites have been gaining on my newer sites.
Looks like msn is giving more weight to age of site or age of links. It is looking alot like google and yahoo combined except it does have all of yahoo banned sites. I have also noticed that my reciprocal link sites are doing much better on yahoo and msn then just one way links. This is reverse for google where 1 way is much better. Maybe Msn algo is just to take a mix of them both. |

Or maybe it's on purpose to shift SEOs view from Google to MSN. If MSN was smart about trying to make itself popular who not better to attract than the people that work with SEs for a living. Word of mouth spreads fast and if most SEOs converted a few people a month we could be seeing another story within a years time. I dont think MSN is as technical as Google. They simply dont have the experience. So things like sandboxes, filters, historical analysis, etc are of no concern for them at the moment. So basically the point is that it's pretty easy to rank on MSN at the moment. Sorry I'm rambling ;P |
