How to create and manage multiple business locations in Google Places and G+ Local?
Here is the issue we are facing. We will be opening a few more locations and we are not sure how to approach this now in terms of Google Places and Google + pages.
We would like to get a Google Places listing and a Google + page for each locations and I need some advise here.
Here is the first issue:
Currently we have a Google + page for the main location but we don't have a Google Places listing associated with this page. There was a Google Places that is in 'Pending" status because we had a different address listed that did not match our actual office address. We understand this was wrong, but we had it that way because we didn't want to give out our address because initially the business had stared at home.
So, now we are thinking of deleting this Google Places listing and creating a new one that is associated with the Google account for the business through wich we manage all other applications and products like G+ page, Analytics, Webmaster tools etc. Is that the right approach? And by creating this Google Place listing with the real address will we get the Google Places and Google + page to merge?
Second issue coming with the new listing we want to include:
We will be opening a few more offices around the country and we want to do the whole Google Local thing the right way. We want to be able to manage all Google Places and G+ pages from one account.
Can we do that? Should we use the single main Google account of the business? Go to the Google Places and add the new locations, associate them with the new geo targeted pages we will build and then create a new G+ page for each location?
Also, if that is the right way and we approach this like that will the new Google Places listings for the new offices and the corresponding G+ pages merge automatically? Will they integrate seamlessly or how does it happen? I really don't know how this merging happens because as I said we don't have a Google local listing associated with our business G+ page.
Moreover, will we get the company website to show up for each location or the specific URL we place?
Is that the right way or we need to create separate Google accounts / gmail accounts for each location and then set up a Google Listing and a G+ page?

If you have more than 10 locations you should use bulk upload, it will make your life much easier.
Just be ABSOLUTELY certain you read the guidelines and understand all the unwritten rules because the main problem when you have multiple listings in the same account is, all it takes is problems in one or 2 listings and Google sometimes suspends the entire account so even your clean listings suffer and have to start over.
Multi-location businesses are not eligible to merge yet and you should not think about trying.
In fact top experts like Mike Blumenthal and myself and even Jade from Google recommend holding off right now even for single locations that qualify. It's just still too BETA/buggy. (See Mike's Local Train Wreck post from last week.)
Plus you also should not merge if you data issues.
So just leave G+ on the back burner now and concentrate on getting your local listing off on a sound foundation.

I have been gathering opinions and advise form SEO specialists and this seems to be the best approach.
We will get those Google listings up first and then we will wait for the G+ Local to see how and when we can get them to merge.
