FooBar'd Google Places?
So I followed the Google Places Zen Master e-book, and after I finished I think I gained in ranking, as I used to be on the second page for a keyword, now I'm on the first.
However, I'm looking at my google places stats, and I see that the activity fell to a flat 0 for 7 days.
It started picking up again 2 days ago, but I can't even see data for the 29th or 30th.
I have a pic of the Google Places graph, but I can't post it since I'm new.
Just worried I've done something bad.
No response from the e-book author.

Mods, this should be moved to the 'local' forum.
1st off MOST of those courses teach black/gray tricks that can get you suspended in Google, so you need to be really careful. GP has lots of unwritten rules and is pretty unforgiving.
Google just promoted me to Top Contributor in the GP forum and I help people there all day who get suspended or rejected.
As far as the missing stats in particular there has been a problem with stats lately and there often is. So just cuz your stats go away for a few days does not mean you are in trouble.
Here's a post that explains the stats problem and shows an image: automotivedigitalmarketing.com/profiles/blogs/google-places-bugs-drops-7-days-of-analytics-traffic-in-november
But that does not mean your listing is clean. If you are worried about it, you need to read the guidelines ALTHOUGH there are tons of unwritten rules that can get you suspended that aren't in there.

I wouldn't worry too much about a minor fluctuation in traffic. Google is constantly making updates it seems and listings are dynamically rendered based on certain variables on your local machine. Worry more about the big picture.

I guess I should be contributing to these forums but its so hard when your busy!
@RSXelrate,
As Linda mentioned stats and sometimes other features in Places have been or are currently buggy sometimes. If you sent an email to support asking this its possible I just missed it. I do get tons of emails each day. You can email me at the support address provided in the download email anytime.
Also note that nothing in the course as long as its followed has gotten any listings suspended that I've done for my own clients, and as of date I've had no one come back and tell me they've had a listing suspended as well.
I'm glad to hear that you ranking increased and I hope that you continue to experience success in Google Places.

I would make sure my places profile was filled out completely. Include you website address and have your location info on your website homepage inserted in a microdata format.
