Take down some of those other guys. If YP is all they are doing, you'll take them out quickly.

Oh, I don't pay the YP people, but I do my own SEO. It took me forever to get around all those YP competitors whose domain was maps.google.com .Originally Posted by jsteele823

We had an encounter with Yellow Pages cold calling my business and I thought it was expensive for what they were originally saying for a year. But it turned out that cost was per month! They said they guaranteed what they were selling by us getting so many clicks and business. They also wanted a minimum length contract as well as we wouldn't go into the current physical book for another year because we missed the deadline by a few weeks to get in there. What a joke. The worst part was I was getting calls at least twice a day getting hounded for the next month or so along with emails.
Yellow Pages was sounding pretty desperate to me.
