Widgetbox for links experiment
For most of you that visit this forum on a regular basis know that I have been doing allot of work lately in experimenting with "out of the box" link building.
I have the ability to create software and to develop just about anything that I can think of and am using that to my advantage, hence my NoFollow Link Checker utility that I built and distributed. It is doing well and I have learned valuable information on how to do it better next time around.
Doing research yesterday I came across two blog posts:
The ideas are a bit aged and some of the techniques no longer carry as much weight but one of them caught my eye.

I was thinking of you for this as well.
Why fight for distribution channels when one is already built for this exact purpose.

Being able to create widgets puts you in a unique position that many SEO's don't always have. Widgets are a fantastic source for link building and if you hit the jackpot you can sit back and watch the links poor in.
