Which is the best strategy for link building?

There are many strategies for link building such as
    1.Article Submission
    2.directory Submission
    3.Bookmarking
    4.Forum Posting
    5.Blog commenting.
    Which one should I prefer?

I suggest you to start with Directory Submission. After that start doing social bookmarking, forum posting, article submission for your website,...

Most of these methods are getting hammered. If this is all of the linkbuilding methods that you can do you better look for another job.

As guest blogging is getting largely abused too, so I think one should also look for quality in these means:

    1. Quality of the blog you are posting on
    2. Quality of your content on their blog. Very few blog owners are picky enough, so you should control yourself and post things that are really good.

    My order is
    1.Bookmarking
    2.Article Submission + 2-tr Bookmarking
    3.Forum Posting
4.directory Submission (only high PR and fast approval)
    5.Blog commenting - it is not necessary(only for 2-tr)

If you want to master SEO look at becoming a professional social media marketer. If you can create content that is truely link worthly and you think people will love not only is good content but great you will dominate your market and SEO.

All the other methods you mentioned above are going out the window they still work but if you want to have your site penalized or a massive drop in rankings once google fines out how to detect **** spammy links that offer nothing but no value then I would suggest doing it the hard way and making your content link worthy.

It sucks but you have to do it.

    =)

I don't agree at all. All are effective for SEO once you follow Google's implementation on quality:

Article Submission: though a lot of article directory sites have been hit by the update. Reputable and high authority directories such as ezine, squidoo, hubpages, etc. can be good for your ranking especially that various readers trust the information in these sites.

Blog commenting: can be good if posting comments on high PR blog websites that have relevant niche or keywords with your website.

Forum posting: this is a great place to create high quality backlinks. However, forum websites are usually highly moderated so you must earn the backlinks through participation.

Social Bookmarking: high ranking social bookmarking websites are usually crawled by the search engine spiders so if you happen to post content in these sites, you have a great chance to look good in SERP.

I would vote for guest posts, they are harder to obtain, but the easy methods are being devalued by Google. But you should pay some attention to the kinds of blogs you post, you might have a surprise if the quality of that blog is low and if it's not related to your site. I would also bet on social social network activity and social bookmarks.

Yes, you can do all that, but have you tested if it really has any effect nowadays?

    Hi,

Without any doubt, Guest posting is the best technique to get quality backlinks as well as huge traffic to the website.

Link building is off page optimization technique to improve the keyword ranking in search engine it is very important for online marketing and in my point of view guest blogging, blog commenting, article posting, participate in social media activities and press release submission are good link building strategies.

As per my view after latest google panda and penguin update there are somany activities no longer works for effective link building.

    For example:

(1)Directory Submission will not give boost to your link building campaign.
(2)Article Submission also having same issues as it considered as content duplication

Now every webmaster have to act very smartly and firstly all must need to understand the latest updates from search engines and have to plan their link building accordingly then only you will get the result.
