Squidoo

I have 30 or 40 articles posted on Squidoo but never see any links or traffic from my Squidoo so is it worth the effort. I guess search engines might see the links from Squidoo but I cant. If search engines can see those links I will keep submitting to Squidoo. You advice is welcome

Squidoo pages don't seem to get much SERP benefit just from being on the site. I suppose you'll have to create backlinks to get the Squidoo page to get anywhere decent in organic search results.

This is why I never understood squidoo. It doesn't seem to provide anything much more compelling than any other "build your own webpage" site.

Have you checked to see how many of your len's are indexed? It takes some work and good content to keep those suckers in the serps.

Squidoo Lenses lost SOME of their ranking power in google due to spammers. At one point google Loved lenses, and people were getting trackbacks to rank for key words.

You can still rank high for a lense, it just takes more work. go to google and type "free wordtracker gtrends" the first site on the page. This is a great free keyword tool, and using this combined with gtrends can really help you determine if your words are worth ranking for.

After you determine your words for you lense go to socialmarker.com and submit your lense to all 50 of those sites. That will give you a big boost in the search engines, hopefully resulting in more traffic.
