Single backlink....

Hello everyone,

I have few doubts on backlinks...

Consider I have social bookmarked my site. I have given two different kinks of the same site (bookmarked two different product page). So will it be considered as two back links for my site or a single back link. ( I have read when it comes to back links how much ever links comes from a single site to your site it is considered as one back link)

I use "link:www.domain.com" to find out back links for my site. Is it like i am trying to find out back links for my home page and not for other pages. Do i need to use "link:www.domain.com/etc" formula to find out back link to other pages of my site.

Use the Google webmaster tools to find out exactly what links you have gained.

don't get too hung up on any particular social bookmark site, they offer value, but move on. Look to your competitor's back links. There are free tools such as link diagnosis to help you..

Back link check tool shows many back links to my site but does google considers all them as back link? I don't think so. Every inbound link is not a back link according to Google.

I want to know which are valid back links to my site according to Google.

Google will still see the bank link, it is just that Google will give different values to the links. The websites that links back to you makes all the different, how relevant, PR, even how many links they are giving out on their page, all counts..
