Instead of low quality link building you could try to learn how to build quality links from relevant sites which hold authority in your niche!Originally Posted by candis
Have a read of this thread http://forums.seochat.com/link-popul...es-450572.html, its got some good examples of where others find quality links, so its well worth a read because you could learn how to do some worthy link building from it
You can also find out more about quality link building by search google for terms like [where to build quality links] etc. Also look at what your competitors are doing, check their link profile and try to top the links they have with better links!

You want to find link that have traffic and where you can provide value.
First i would find about 5-10 blogs (authority blogs in your niche) and add the to Google alerts and check them every day for something you find interesting to post on and receive a link back.
I would do the same for twitter and Facebook along with forums.
Start creating video content and release it on Youtube and other video sites.
Also make sure you read the post above.
Off page optimization strategies are :
Blog commenting
Article submission
Forum promotions
HQ back-linking.
For the record, these are probably some of the less useful methods for off page optimization. The only notable suggestion is HQ back linking. Maybe you can elaborate on this?Originally Posted by NelsonSmith

The link building thread inspired me to list one of the ways I build links. I haven't taken advantage of it like I should, but, that's another story.
I have health info booklets that I sell to hospitals and physician practices. They are available in English and Spanish. Some of the offices have such a small clientele of hispanics they don't buy the Spanish version. (hospitals are required to offer spanish) So I put the Spanish version online as a pdf and when they order the English booklet, I include a flier that the Spanish version is available for FREE online and give the URL. I have also given the URL to hospitals for their online library.
Frankly, I wonder who Frank is and why he has his own adverb.
