If the only way from a website to get a good PR is having
links on other high PR website's then where those high PR websites get this from.... Some they say...only quality links do matter..i guess it's a bit more complicated then that... I think DMOZ is important...then google directory will follow... and for the rest just try to get many links.... (also links on your own pages to your main page are important and counted,,,) regards, hans |

i've got a relatively new site that just went from pr4 to pr6 with no outbound links. i am linking that site to a new site that i built. the new site has absolutely no other links to it from anywhere else. so after the crawl and index i should be able to see how both sites are effected. i'm expecting to see pr5 on the new site and pr6 stick with the other site. i'll report back the results.
if anyone else has experience with outbound linking effects please speak up! p.s. i've only got 1 link from the pr6 homepage. i'm thinking about placing a link on the other 100,000+ pages (that range from pr4-5), but i dont know if i want to go to that extreme or not. i might wait until after the next index to see the results and then put links on the other pages to see if there is any benefit.... yeah, thats probably what i'll do. |
