Obtaining links for several sites

I have about 9 sites that have the same DNS server, different Class C IP addresses, and the same Registar information.

I am looking to do my SEO linking efforts for all of these sites at the same time. Is google going to look down on my sites if a majority of their incoming links are coming from the same sites? My sites are not going to be interlinking (maybe one or two because its needed). Any opinions on a betteer what to do it or am I right on track?

You have different Class C's, and all are pointing to the same DNS servers? Without sounding too parranoid, I would think this ties everything together quite nicely. The same registrar doesn't matter.

Personally, I would hide my information even if it costs a couple bucks extra. Then I would use the registrar DNS information. I don't know who you go through for registrar services but I've always received an A+ rating for my registrars DNS servers. You can test this (among other places) at *http://www.dnsreport.com/

This way there is nothing tying your sites together.

If you don't understand how DNS works, then learn. It's not that difficult to get the basics down.

As there are different Class C IP addresses, I won't worry about them, just don't interlink them.

Thanks for getting back to me guys. The contact information for all of these domains is the same and isnt google checking against registration information for domains to see its just some spammer getting different sites and having them link to each other? I read this some where I just need to check where and I will post where to find it.

Actually this brings up a good question. First, like I suggested, I would set the privacy bit so that no one knows who the actual owner is.

The question is: Can other registrars bypass domain privacy and see who the actual domain owner is?

Yea seriously how do we find that out? If thats the case, I wonder if they store that information if say you transfer the domain over to another name.

I know how to USE registrars, unfortunately, I don't know anything about their business. There MUST be someone here with some insight though.

My guess is that if you are having a problem, you can change the registrar information. Im just curious since I have a few sites for a business I own and a few affiliate sites, they would consider all of my sites to be a problem. I dont find it reasonable for them to do that, but who knows.

Google is a computer not a person and they dont have the capability to remember who changed what on their domain contact information. The only possible way that would work is if, they targeted affiliate site and put the names of the people who run those affiliate sites in a database. That just sounds illegal.

I wouldn't be too sure. Domain registry information is public and it would be an easy way to determine relationships.
