it seems that someone decided to give to same service for free at http://www.link-swapper.com

the service Link Swapper uses the same link exchange plug-in and directory add-on for your website, but with
a small difference.
people who paid thousands of dollars to linksmanager
would now be able to get the same service for free.
It is not yet known whether linksmanager would respond in drop in prices.

Yeah the creator of link-swapper.com is a regular on these boards.

His free service for link swapping is great!! I wouldn't dream of paying linksmanager for their service.

I was just wondering how exactly this works, I'm not all that up on linksmanager either but I assume the script is installed on the customers site and links to a central database for the directory information?

answers: yes it work throue a central databse, and you can see an exmple linked from the main page of the site at http://www.link-swapper.com

see the link for : Example: Resource Directory and Other Intresting Places ...

BUT.. I was always under the impression that you should stear clear of links pages which are php and asp, and just stick with htm?

This correct or duff info?

duff , google, yahoo, msn and whoever crawl and index them great, see how many .asp .php etc. are indexed '0000000
and I can see in the logs that the crawler do it
