I just tried installing it and I am able to get the page ok.
But when I try testing it I get a message that says... "The page you've entered does not contain a reciprocal URL, submission aborted." But I DO have a recip url. I checked and re-checked and it is correctly typed on the submission form and appears correctly on the webpage. Anyone else having this problem? mopek |

BP you should setup a PayPal donation box on the Link Swapper homepage or admin so users that are happy and willing to donate can show their appreciation for all your hard work. Especially with the money most are saving using your service.
This also promotes future upgrades |

Who says free is better? Linksmanager has a full support staff to take care of problems, cosmetic integration teams and best of all, a product that is updated and monitored 24 hours a day. I have been using the service for the last year and it has been the BEST money I have spent on the internet to date.
I am sorry, but I trust my daily business to the experts. I rely heavily on my internet traffic and free to me = hassles and issues which I don't have time to deal with. This reminds me of something though, I make it a point to give my business to USA based businesses. With all of the outsourcing and cheap labor we are driving our american programmers to the unemployment lines and the trend for website designers and seo experts is heading in the same direction. If we don't support the utilities that we have used and continue to use and look for cheaper and cheaper ways to do business, then we all midas well pack it up and head to the unemployment offices. None of you will have jobs...everyone will take their business overseas. It is all cause and effect. I personally support Linksmanager, they have been instrumental to my success and the least I can do is support the company that has been there listening and addressing my needs for the last year. People that ride on other people's success make me wonder why anyone bothers. Tiffany* |

Tiffany, if everyone followed your reasoning, we would all be driving Model T Fords. Competition drives innovation. I was in Russia in 1989 before the wall came down. I don't know you, but I will venture a guess and say that you would not want to live in a society like that. There is nothing wrong with supporting who you want. If someone can do something cheaper and/or better, then they should be able to do it.

Lol, no link management script out there compares to what's about to be released. Save your $$ and wait for the good stuff. This new manager will have SEOs drooling with their eyes wide open.
Thats all I'm going to foreshadow right now ;)

What is so amazing about these links managing scripts? They don't seem like they'd be that hard to create. Maybe I'm missing something here though...

Tiffany, That is just absurd. Outsourcing (as we know it) has been going on for a long time. Who do you think major companies hired a decade ago?? Programmers from every part of the world besides America. Russian, Indian, European and such but no one gave a crap because they worked in America. Thats great you care about outsourcing but you should first realize that jobs in America are being occupied by many "outsourced" companies. You ever hear of telephone or telemarketing companies hiring prisons to make their calls and give support for pennies a day? Or companies giving temporary visas to Mexican workers because it's cheaper? Go after a big dog like GM and SBC beofre accusing someone for helping out. BP is just helping everyone out on THIS forum not 90% of SEOs out there. A friendly gesture is a friendly gesture no matter where you are from. It's not like he asked for money so relax. Accusing someone of doing something just because of a geographical location is as ignorant as judging someone by their ethinicity. Last edited by pk_synths : April 22nd, 2004 at 01:13 AM. |

Within two weeks. And to the guy who said something about how hard it maybe to make a link exchange program. Not that tough if you make one to model all the ones currently out there. But if you make one that slams them to the ground in every feature and then some, well, you'll see ;) It's going to be an SEO's dream come true.. no and it's not a spam script or anything.. you'll see ;) hexed |
