Link building priorities.
I need some help prioritizing link building methods. I would like to see other webmasters priorities on the link building stratifies when considering time and or money spent developing these methods/
I would like to see your order of important for the following. Submitting to directories social book marking posting articles to your site submitting articles to article directories posting on blogs posting on forums. |

1) Posting articles to your site: For a new site we focus heavily on getting lots of great content onto the site. Content that is unique to our site and some of the best-on-the-web in our niche. If you have that type of quality then you have a chance to get links. Before we create the content we often know where links to it can be obtained.
2) Social book marking (we place the "addthis" button on the site and visitors do the bookmarking) 3) Submitting to directories (only to industry directories, dmoz, Yahoo!) 4) submitting articles to article directories (we don't do this) 5) posting on blogs (we spend this time posting on our own site) 6) posting on forums (we spend this time posting on our own site)
