Link building for adults site

OK due to moving agency side again I have picked up a contract for the adult site, not what the work I want to do but a customer is a customer.

OK I need some sources of links for this industry (not porn, but the adult industry toys, costumes and the like.).

Anybody know where to go to start to get these kind of links ?

ClickyB is the expert in this area. From what i have read most of the links in this industry are either recipricals or spam.

I s'pose harvesting you competators links could be a good source of potential links.

I have for a while thought a great way to win this industry would be develop a site with a top notch adult related resource and build quality links to this resource and then add the money site to it later on a different part of he site. ie a study on Aids in Africa etc. I would think a site that could actually get a few authority site links (and keep them) could dominate thgis market.

Speeking of which I am in Thailand at the moment and the women here are so very beutiful.... Certainly makes one think about the adult industry...

Another way is if you are targeting only a certain location which is not where Google's data centers are, you can change the website depending on whether the user is in that location. This way Google sees an information website instead of people in that location seeing the money site.

Fairly blackhat but it is used a lot in the gambling industry and i cant see it not working for the adult industry if you are targeting one location (Italy, France etc.)

Generally the adult industry is fairly blackhat and is very difficult to build natural links or even less ethical links that look natural.

The question is are you or your client willing to look into this part of SEO? If so you need to come to understand that the guarantees and the responsibilities of both parties changes greatly.

The only other real possibilities to go somewhat natural are widgets for the adult industry (price comparison on toys etc) which other websites can put onto theirs etc.
