Whether the articles published in the link building strategy should be realted to the business? Or is it ok if its a common article?

eg- Say if the business if related to Media then whether the article should be based on that industry?

Why would you write an article that wasn't related to the site that you are link building for?

The backlinks contained in the article would have minimal value... Think RELEVANCE... If the subject matter of the article is not relevant to your content... the link will not be relevant to your content... The value of the link(s) will be minimal.

"There are many ways to gain back links from a web site. You can offer valuable information on something that an end-user finds useful, such as a map to, or of a destination, a tool such as a mortgage calculator, or even a coupon or shopping tips. This is the way the search engines want you back links to occur…as this is the Natural Link Building process; An end-user finds something on a web site that they feel is useful and they create a link to it."

Could you please further illustrate it?? here the word end user points whom? The visitors or the web masters?

Often it isn't the end user that's the target... they most often don't have websites they only "use" what is available.

Therefore the object is to acquire the interest of website owners that have also have patrons to their websites and the usefulness of the [bait] is needed and much easier to link to than to recreate.

Stay away from link farms (http://www.jimprice.com/jim-lnk.htm#people)

But also as a link building strategy link farms mentioned..

Whether link farms are bad?

Unhappy Stay away from pages that have more than 50 outbound links

great and informative info, I actually bookmarked this article to digest it more. One question though, you say to stay away from more then 50 outbound links ?? Why. I just did a huge link exchange through submit eaze and even titled one of my pages "LinkPartners." I thought reciprocal link exchange was good ?
I'm totally new at this, Any advice ? should I delete my LinkPartners page??

I would re-word that... it's not really valid [sort of]

Pages with volumes of "links" [both internal and external] sub-divide the value of 'whatever' is offered from the page so a page with 25 links and a page with 50 links - even if the 50 page is overall better than the 25 you get far less from it.

However, the focus of this is wrong... I would want a link from a page with 50 other links "IF" the current links on the page show up as backlinks in Google's sampling...

This means that the page is in primary results and the page "does have something to offer" as apoosed to a page that has 15 links and in supplemental results... where the links don't get anything.
