I need backlinks, have anyone tested automatic services?

I've registered my site in maaany directories the past week, and I have seen a bunch of advertising for different submitting sites. The ads sais things like: "Get 3000 backlinks for $9.99". I have heard from many many people that theese services are no good, and that I should keep away from them.

I have some spare domains and $9.99 is nother, Im just a bit afraid to pay via a credit card, otherwise I would have tested it.

But have you tested any services like this? And if you have, what results did you got?

1st think you need to see they are from one domain or from at least several domains.

Almost 99% of those are garbage scams. Some use javascript to not pass PR or they have "stolen" PR, etc.

I'd avoid them if I were you. Even it is $9.99 it's not worth it. You might find your email signed to thousands of spam lists if you arent careful since sites can sell your email address and gain alot more than $9.99.

Might just be a email address bait offer.

...

Like with most things in life, you get what you pay for...

Ask yourself, if you had 3000 quality backlinks would you sell them for $9.99?

Also, the "relevancy" of backlinks is very important. What are chances of these backlinks being relevant? Not good.

These folks tend to prey on "newbies" or uneducated amateur webmasters. They probably are harvesting e-mails as well.

Back Links are not a matter in Optimization google not shown all links as per their algo i seen many sites having 6-7 links and also having good PR and doing well in Google. But Quality linking with a good PR sites always helpful .

those total links are nothing more than CRAP... so better stay away from them apart from your e-mail ther are getting $9 plus what ever they will get after selling your email... you will loose your money & will be given lots of spam mails + as a bonus you will get 3000 crap links

Max google as we know does not show all backlinks it finds for a site. But good relevant backlinks are crucial if you wish to have good ratings in the SERPS as far as G is concerned.

max says some odd things

of course google takes backlinks into account when ranking your site - it just doesn't show them all (go to yahoo and do linkdomain:www.yourdomain. com)

However, not all links are created equal of course - themed are better - anchor text is a must (and mix it up) - forum links don't mean JS

Okay the 9.99 links are junk. Does anyone have any suggestions on buying links that are worth the money?

DOnt go for the quantity of back links, go for quality, I have seen sites with PR5 having just 10 back links from pages with good PR.

If you must buy text links ask around and get peoples opinion on reliable providers. However, they may lack relevance but as far as I am aware the relevance of the links has yet to be conclusively proved.

Mike.

Goto www.linkadage.com for some great backlinks. It's an ebay-ish auction based link buying website. Safe and Secure. I've used the service before and NO I'm not affiliated with them.

Just take your time and research all your options. Quantity is not better than quality and sometimes one high PR on a websites homepage can have a bigger impact than 3000 sitewide links. Linkadage offers both just be wise before you purchase.

Thumbs up

Try some directory links, they should be done first.

I would say:

1. Free Directories
2. Paid Directories
3. Links from Link Auctions
4. Reciprocal Links in the END. LOWEST PRIORITY. DOnt link to toooo many websites. And that is why you pay for link, coz you dont want to link back.
