How to check links

Hi All
Im new here and new to seo...after building my site (I cant add url because Im new, but its phil norton photography) Im researching seo and what I can do. Im starting at the front, I dont even have keywords yet!

Ive been researching links, and who to link with. My problem is although I do have a few incoming links, no tools I have used have shown them. Ive used various tools, including google tools, but none show them. I have links but cant add the urls yet: however ulstertower.euro.tm/ is one

Does anyone know why they are not shown, and if there is a more reliable way to check?

Ive tried so many online tools, and ther only one that has shown anything is walk to web, however this does not show links I know about.

I have also tried WEB SEO which again showed nothing.

If the nofolow tag is used how can I find out?

Many Thanks

Phil

Welcome to SEO Chat, you have found the best resource for SEO.

I would suggest that keyword research and keyword targetting are your main priority. Get this wrong and everything you do afterwards is a waste of time (or much less effective and productive than it could be).

After this building quality content and gaining links are highly important.

Install Google Analytics from the onset and you will have some valubale information about how your site is used helping you further optimise it.

I recommend you Google Analytics, Awstat and
Statcounter, you can sign up to those and find
out what is more accurate for you, though I'm
using other tool such as seo open. I still
recommend those tools.

backlinkwatch (.com) is ok, smartpagerank (.com) has a backlinks analyzer tool.
