What is the most effective way to Backlink? Say a Blog with a Pagerank of 3 reviews one of my products should I have them anchor the name of the product or my website? Which method is most effective? Thank you In advance for any help and or advice.

Anchor text = stuff people search for, i.e. your favourite keywords.

Anchor text with a good keyword density for the keywords/ long tails you are optimizing for

I recenlty understood that when you backlink do not always back link to one of your page ( say home page). Back link to multiple pages with the respective keywords of those pages.

You can try link exchange with your related sites and forum posting is effective in getting backlinks, just make it sure the sites is dofollow and have a high rank.

Surely you are asking what you backlink WITH (ie: what anchor text)? (Please be accurate with questions or you'll get the wrong answers)!
It's best to mix them up - that way you avoid having a backlink profile that looks spammy.

Having said that...
Since this was asked in January you probably don't care now (sad that folks are still answering)
