Does anybody know of the good site that provides backlinks...I would like to check out what my competitors are doing and where they are leaving links at.

Have been researching this question for the last month.

To date the best I've found is ibacklinkpro,

This is a limited free access tool that displays up to 100 back links for any site, shows Alexa Rank, Domain and Page Page Rank, anchor text, and back link URL.

Easy to evaluate, access and generate your own power links to emulate competitor's strategy.

The blog entries on this site provide some most relevant insight from an author who appears to have spent the better part of his life involved in the subject.

A nominal upgrade fee allows extending the tool capability to 10,000 back links per site evaluated.

Searching Google for: link:www.yoursite.com is NOT a good way to find backlinks; when you use this method Google will only show you a random sample of backlinks, not a complete list.

Better to use one of the (many) tools mentioned above.
