How to find links to competitor's website for free?

    Hi...

Is it possible to find links to your competitor's website for free in 2017? I tried Moz's OSE,
but they don't offer the most complete data. Others give you a limited trial.

I understand companies have to charge. At the same time, I'm bootstrapping. My money
is better spent on other tools at this point.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Dan

Try to figure out who can write the better content than your compatitor hire them or ask them to write. Linbuilding can cause harmful to your site.So try to generate some referrals to your for your content without linbuilding. So, it better if you have some budget then it's better to expend your money for the better content
You do your business I do mine because you are you and I am I If we meet it is nice.

Cowboy up and get spy glass and I think there's a free version but the paid version is pretty good. Keep in mind you get what ya pay for..free isn't really free.

I personally use SE Ranking for monitoring backlinks as well as keeping an eye on the competitors. I also love Ahrefs for backlink monitoring, but it is too expensive just for one feature. The tool provides a good set of useful features, including link checker, keyword research, rank tracking, website audit and much more. Pretty much the same thing as SE Ranking that offers them for less.

I use Moz for "good" backlinks. Even the free version is useful, although as you said, it's limited.

I also use backlinkwatch.com. It will give you a TON of links, including lots of duplicates from the same root domain, spammy links, etc - but at least you can see what your competitors are doing.

If you want to do your research qualitatively (which is the main point of doing it) with detailed information, then free is not an options. Ahrefs is good paid option, i recommend it too.

Backlinkwatch.com is the right tool for you. Its free & Showing all the backlinks of a website.

Just you can try it to get the result.
