Free Chat Links
I am looking to swap links with my chat site.
I can offer you a free room for your website. All
you need is to put a link on your website that will
connect into the chatrooms.
You can have a look at :
http://chatjungle.com
Please send me an email if you can trade or offer links. This
is a free site with no ads and no banners.
Very negotiable on what can be done.
Let's talk.

Why you are disagree with chatseeker he is new user for this forum I fell this is negative impact for new user. If you fell this is 4 years you can simply say like gazzahk “This thread is 4 YEARS OLD ..... Please donot raise these very old threads. Lia hasn't been visiting this forum for a long time.” This is great way to convince to user.

Stan, you are raising a point on agreeing and disagreeing??
Maybe a newbie, but its quite irritating to see several posts, in this case about 4 or more, being dugged up again and again.
If you are so keen on replying, reply to the fresh answer awaiting threads.

I don't mean to be rude but if the thread is still open it means I can still reply to it.Thanks to me a thread that has been sitting there with no replies has now about half a dozen.
It turns out this thread is on of the rare ones where the offer actually suits what I'm looking for, it does not hurt to give it a try. Like I said in the beginning, if it's not closed I still have the right to reply to it, I'm not spamming this forum I'm only replying to threads that are of interest to me like other forum members do.

Well maybe dear, i guess you do have a valid point there. But with due respect, this forum is really being spanked around these days by full time spammers and who look just for their niche and dig up threads as old as 3 to 4 years.
Anyways, no personal grudge against you, go ahead with what you are looking for.
Anyways, i loved that location. Youre making me famous!!
And i recieved my first "disagree" comment!! Thats some history for me.

You agree that I have a valid point, I'm making you famous and I made you laugh, isn't the world a great place?
It was important for me to make my point. Fighting spam is legitimate, but punishing authentic members of this forum who respect the rules IS WRONG.
I have not posted a single link here so how am I spamming? I'm a moderator at another forum and even though there are fewer members there, I have to fight spam everyday, I know what it's like but that does not give you the right to impose your OWN laws on other forum members like yourself unless of course this is your forum.
If you don't think I'm spamming than we probably shouldn't be having this discussion because what you're saying is that I did not do anything wrong.
Before I stop I just wanted to say that you are contributing as much as I am to revive this 4 year old thread.

Reason: jalaj4you said he didn't say I was a spammer

Anyways jokes apart and this aint a flame against you, its just a question of applying a bit of a common sense. Things change drastically in a span of 4 years and the last post by Lia was in 2006, still 2 years back. May be your say is right when it comes to thread not being closed, but its so over optimistic of you to appear 4 years late to that offer and thinking of grabbing it up now.
I dont have any issues with your post!
And lastly buddy, where did the spam factor came in? I never reffered to your post as a spam or did i even mention that word?
I think this logo right besides my name is the main reason behind your assumption.

Interestingly, although chatseeker didn't break any rules (just performed a little "necromancy"), the original poster did
There's a rules sticky in this forum which is titled: "No Link Exchanges in Forum: Please read before posting" and is dated June 30th, 2003.
So my opinion is that the original post should not have been allowed (and wouldn't be nowadays)... however, it was and it's still here, and - so far as I'm concerned - it can stay
Although Gazzahk handled it in a nicer way, in reality nobody should have reponded... it should have been reported so that a mod' could decide whether it was ok or not.
I do some sympathy with jalaj4you though, this seems to have been happening a lot lately and it sucks when a thread is resurrected by somebody who simply says "I agree" or something similarly pointless... (Normally perceived by me as a sad attempt to reach the limit required for a signature full of links and is deleted because it breaks at least 2 rules and annoys the s**t outta me
So I seem to spend most of my time handing out warnings / bans lately
(On the other hand - I spotted a comment from Fathom a few days back saying that this recent "trend" might be partially due to the fact that many of our old threads are ranking well in Google, so maybe people arem't noticing the posting date which made me think).
However, since the OP was allowed (and the poster was last active here in Jan' 2007) I don't see any problem with chatmasters post (other than maybe a little over-optimism)
