Is buying links a good way of increasing backlinks?

I have a website and want to increase the number of backlinks quickly. Instead of building links slowly, I want to know whether buying links is a good way.

My website is french site, and I want to try buying links. <snip>

    Thanks

Definitely avoid this way of link building. It's not allowed by google. Unless you want to get penalized. Genarally avoid, reciprocal links, paid links etc.

When a site builds links too quickly they are usually using paid link building methods, link exchange methods, or grabbing any links possible with no attention to the quality of the link. All of these linking methods are unnatural, low quality, and will get a site in trouble. You want your link profile to look natural. Building too many links at once, trying to do it quickly, is not natural. Building 20-50 links at a time as long as you continue doing this actively should be okay. However, even with 20-50 links you want them coming from reputable quality sites that are relevant to your industry or niche.

Will buying links get you backlinks quickly, yes. Are they going to be the kind of links that you want, no. Google isn't "dumb", don't you think getting a bunch of links in rapid succession is just a little suspicious? Besides, many of these links won't even be relevant to your content, so you will only hurt your site. I feel like a broken record since I have to repeat the same advice day in and day out but patience is the most important aspect of SEO. You will not get your rankings without quality, or time.

Generally buying links quickly is not a good idea, especially from link networks.

Buying links the right way is not bad though, as they can get you somewhere if done correctly especially when used with topic relevent topic enhancing blogs. What people forget is that Guest Posts can also be paid links - as some sites do want a certain amount of money for it, there are even marketplaces out there which get used heavily and are prospering.

So to answer your questions: Yes and No but doing it quickly is always bad.

This could be a problem for ya:
I have a website and want to increase the number of backlinks quickly
take out the words quickly and you'll do much better.
In link building more isn't better and fast isn't quicker.

No. Buying link is considered as a spam technique by Google. It will lower your website's rank instead of improving it.

No... Buying links is not a good way of increasing backlinks....

Instead of quantity of links, concentrate more on getting quality links... That would rather help you get better ranking in search engines and will be useful for long term...

Buying links has and will continue to always work. Period. No question about it.

Google is smart, but human's based on trial and error will always win.

Think of buying links as speeding. You go 5MPH over, you're probably safe. You blow past a Porsche going 100MPH, you're going to get noticed.
