Wordtracker vs Keyword Discovery?

Has anyone used both of these? Which have you found to be more successful?

I'm yet to sign up with Wordtracker, but I've tried the free version of Keyword Discovery, and wasn't really impressed with what it yielded.

Failing that, what alternatives have been useful to you? If there's others I'm unaware of that cost a fair amount, that isn't an issue, so I'm open to any other suggestions.

Thanks..

"Word tracker Count shows the number of times a particular keyword has appeared in our database. E.g. Our database currently holds 300+ million words. A count of 147 tells us that this particular word has appeared 147 times out of 300+ million".

It is taken from Word tracker FAQ. How can I rely on this data, which doesn't have time limit. May be searches were done 2 years back. As well as I would appreciate data which tells per month or per week so many searches were happened in the last 12 months. something like that.

Somehow I have started liking Keyword discovery.

I have used both of them.
Free version of Keywords Discovery and have even used sign up for word tracker.
what i have found is : Keywords discovery is best one for Long tail selection as compare to Word tracker.

Rest Word Tracker is quite Aged and have achieved enough popularity...so people do prefer it.

So i've been away for a few weeks and not very active here for 5 months. Wouldn't you know it, the same questions that can be answered using SEARCH!

Both tools are fine, but the real SEO uses all of them and none of them. All of the scrapers that have keyword data really display the same ratios. The results rae different but at the end of the day the averages are the same so not much different.

The real source for keyword data is your own source (and if you don't have a souce then adwords and similar services). The reason why it's the best source is because you have a trusthworthy source, a good reflection of whats popular in your own data/content, and it's free.
