meta name="keywords" - Gimme Your thoughts on this?
I usually tend to use around 5-10 keywords or phrases as meta keywords.
Is there anything that says if you use too many, its a negative thing? Some use 100īs, I got a few sites that uses over 50, that seem to do good, and I got a few others that only uses 2. One or 2 years ago, I think I heard that using too many could be negative, but im not sure at all. After all, its only the meta keywords, not the title or description... Your thoughts on this? |

Search engine optimization stands to meta tag keywords as car engine optimization stands to comfort of seats. I usually choose two or three keywords related to the page contents and put them in the meta tag keywords. If this process requires more than 10 seconds per page, I know that I'm wasting my time. |

I don't think that these count very much in your overall optimization. I place the REALLY important terms there and that's all.
