Longtail and primary keyword
I'm currently planning out my keywords for a hotel web site I have. Ideally, I'd like to rank well for city+hotels keyword phrase but it's very competitive so I'm going to target long tail keywords. Should my primary keyword be a long tail or short tail (eg city+hotels). Is there any benefit to using the short tail as the primary keyword and long tail as the secondary keywords?
