Keyword research through ppc

hi All,

I had few doubts on Keyword research.

I use keyword tools for keyword research but i am never satisfied with search value. They are inconsistent and i just can't go ahead with those keywords trusting on those tools.

So now i have thought to do small PPC campaigns before i start with SEO, Since PPC gives actual search value i am hoping to get good keywords through it.

Please give ur thoughts.

Kind of a difficult thing to do. If you think you can keep your keywords all in the same position, you may be able to accurately read this. The easiest way to do this is bid higher than anyone and get #1, but then you need to think about seasonal fluctuations as well as what the market is doing at the time.

True SEO works the same on PPC. You can tweak and work it to get things down to low cost and high conversions. Though for measuring Keyword popularity, it may not be all that accurate either. I'd pay attention to your webmaster tools, and watch what terms are converting the best in your analytics.
