First you search on Google. If I wanted to do keyword research on the keyword: "keyword research", I would type it in Google first.
Accidentally I stumbled upon a trove of information about keyword research procedures. Now I read all those information, and I can ask very specific questions, not very generic questions that show that I am either too lazy or stupid to find something on my own.

Before Keyword Research
Before doing any keyword research make sure you understand your business model and how it fits into your chosen market category. Great keyword research wont save a poor business model.

Isn't there a Google tool to look up keywords via their PPC service? I forgot the URL, but essentially you enter one keyword, it gives a list of similar keywords with nice stats.. Do you by any chance recall the name of this tool or URL?
