However I noticed that the Google give to us really different hits for same keyword in different countries.
"online hotel bookings" is my favorite keywords and according to the Google Keyword Selector it has 2,400 searching on a month in the United States of America.
I typed to the Google.com the "online hotel bookings" keywords
in Hungary. The result was great and my website is the 15th hit. But if I use the google.com from another country (with the help of a proxy server) I get really different hits. I used the google.com through hidemyass proxy server and for the "online hotel bookings" keywords my website was the 29th hit, so it's really different
I know the Google has many Data Center servers, but if the results is depend on the DC servers the effective keyword marketing is almost impossible.
Please tell to me your keyword experiences, I'm really interested in your responses. | Google now places more emphasis on locale than it did previously. A user from the US would be more likely to want a US based website. Same goes for any country. Google is playing into that, and hence opening up more competition within each individual country.
For my industry, it's a good thing. I don't want to be sending samples to people in other countries that will never place an order.
