Keyword - 'internet dating'?

So I started an online reality show recently based around Internet dating. I jumped up from page 13 to 7 in a week on Google for keyword 'date internet dating'. Will this affect my rank on the keyword 'internet dating' (which is extremely competitive) also?

Should I aim for the competitive keyword, non-competitive keyword, or somewhere in between? 'Date internet dating' is pretty competitive according to the Google keyword tool.

The site is Date: Unknown - web series about Internet dating in New York City

It's better to target semi competitive keywords at the primary stage.

Now,I would like to suggest you something abut your site.

1. On page optimization is not good enough.All most same title tags in all the pages.Home Page Title Tag need a improvement.

2. Lack of textual contents in the site.

3. Lack of inbound link strength of the site.

Work on these,hopefully you will get the result.

As each and every pages have unique contents the title tags should also be unique.It should be according to the page content.
Also you must take care of heading tags.Same theory as title is applicable here.Heading tags must be relevant to the page content.

Home Page: Title is better than previous one,but still there is scope for improvement.

Internal Pages: No my friend,I am still not happy with it.In all internal page title "reality on line matchmaking & dating in NY" portion is same,change it.See,you can't make the titles different by adding "about us ","archive","be on the show" etc at the beginning and keep the rest same.
The whole thing should be different.

Finally don't use something like "//".If needed use "-".
