Hi people....
I'm very green with this SEO and i hope this is not a silly question, I've just been on KeywordSpy and the one thing that jumped out at me was the fact that major sites were ranked for 1000s of keywords. Now I am wondering if this would be keywords that would be on various pages in text in there site or could it be the keywords you embed in your homepage HTML. If this is the case, I was unaware that the text you put in your site had so much important. If it is in the homepage HTML I remember being told to keep my keyword in the homepage HTML to a minimum I wounder if anyone could clear this up for me Thanks |

Hi,
You should optimize different pages for different keywords. Main page should be optimized for 3-4 main keywords. The more keywords you want to be ranked on the more targeted pages you should create. |

Optimization with keywords is a tricky method.
First of all sot out the main keywords then optimize the pages regularly. This will certainly help you. Thanks. |

Large websites will often create a SILO which includes hundreds of pages that are indexed by google each one targeting a different keyword. Many of these pages will rank by themselves if the domain is trusted, old and has proper deeplinking.
