competitive keywords

I think your keywords is competitive that's why you are facing such type of problems. You have to concentrate on your "link popularity" by making lots of back links to get value for your site.

its really hard to rank keyword/s especially if you have alot competitors.. maybe try use kw/s with less competitors before you target higher kw/s... ;-)

It sounds as if you are confusing two issues (Google Page Rank vs. Ranking Position). Your Google PR3 has nothing to do with keywords. It has to do with backlinks. So, don't focus attention there.

To get better "ranking position," you need to understand that you are in one of the most competitive markets (i.e, websites and freelancing). Go for longtail keywords. You will be able to rank better on those terms and they will convert the best. For example, aim for ranking on "Pakistan Web Design" or other local web design terms.

I would get rid of "Dot Net Nuke" in your title as those terms are not worth ranking on.

Page Rank Does not have anything with Keywords

The keyword factor and the PR factor are 2 different things. No matter what your keyword is, your PR is not going to get affected. PR is based on the incoming links (to the best of my knowledge, please correct me if i am wrong)

You can try out free sites like word tracker and find out variations. The best way to choose a keyword will be to try variations or check out for competitions on the keyword. If the keyword is competitive You are taking a rough road. If its less competitive you have more chances to succeed. You can also use softwares like click ad equalizer and Keyword elite

I hope this helps

Ali - page rank depends on backlinks, the more quality backlink you have, the better ranking you have. Make sure when you are adding images, have the Alt= code.

It's nice to see a Pakistani fellow - I'm from Karachi as well.
