FREE as keyword

Hi,
If I use or include the word 'FREE' in the title Tag or make it part of my keyword targeted strategy, could that have a good or bad effect ? would search engine consider it as a spam ? though I offer some free stuff as a marketing approach but not as the main activity.
thanks

The word "free" is very general term and the competition is about 3.780.000.000 pages. So, i think, to use it whith other words as a part of keyword phrase of your free stuffs.

Free is very generic keywords so add some long tail keywords.

Not at all, it is a very generic keyword though, but that shouldn't be a problem if your primary keywords are focused enough....

it isnt spam. But i am not sure whether it will convert well or not. In most cases you will attract freebie seeker with this term.

However , you can use CPA to convert these freebie seeker into profit ones.

Hope this advice helps. If any confusion , send me a PM
